CJ is the Founder and CEO of the Southwestern Wildlife Survey. Born and raised in Bishop, California, he received his B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Nebraska in 2001 and his M.S. and PhD from Texas A&M University in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences in 2003 and 2015, respectively. He has been actively involved in wildlife research with a focus an early focus on game birds and mammals since 2001.
