About
The Southwestern Wildlife Survey is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing the understanding of wildlife species and ecosystems in the southwestern United States. mission is: “To advance scientific knowledge and conservation efforts through research on wildlife species – both game and non-game – and the habitats they depend on, across public and private lands.”
To fulfill our mission
We conducted both foundational natural history studies and detailed ecological investigations. Our findings are shared through peer-reviewed journals, technical reports, and accessible literature for broader audiences.
Our work is made possible entirely through public grants and the generous support of private donations from individuals like you. If you’re passionate about wildlife and its conservation, we invite you to support our efforts with a tax-deductible donation.
